Hello, all. As part of Michal's quasi DeveloperNetwork, my areas of work include object oriented system-, interface-, and database-independant distributed systems written in Perl. Think MovableType for other arenas, like education and healthcare. Here's a fun example:
Level 12, which is an online SEC data aggregator written in Perl, currently using MySQL as a database backend.
Last year, I wrote a yet-to-be-published book,
A Visual Learner's Guide to MySQL so I can expound on the pitfals and enjoyment of that experience, too. And I suppose there is some knowledge in my head about its subject: MySQL. For the sake of the book, let's hope so.
