It's a web based email client so you can check your mail from anywhere.

I've installed a copy of SquirrelMail 1.43a that everyone can use:
(login with your normal username/password and be sure to pick the right server)
If you've been using PHPost you might want to check this out, as it has a LOT more features, including:

Why do my emails come from example.com ?!?!
There really ought to be a big warning message the first time you send mail from squirrelmail: you need to tell it your actual email address, or it just defaults to .example.com which means you won't get your replies. Here's how to fix it:

Log into SquirrelMail

Click "Options" at the top

Click "Personal Information"

Enter values for "Full Name" and "Email Address"
